The "Mythical Cats of the World" collection is being created in a series of eight images. "Leopards of Nigeria" and "Mayan Jaguar" are the first two of this series to be completed.
Each image originates from a different country with its' own legend and each exists in visual form. Extensive research for this project started about 5 years ago and is an ongoing process constantly seeking more information to add to this series.
The "Leopards of Nigeria" which
were made from several pieces of Ivory and Brass and were made to stand alone, are
presently in British Museum in London.
| The "Mayan Jaguar" was awarded a coveted space on the cover of the 1991 issue of "The Guild." "The Guild" is published once a year for distribution to the interior design firms and architects throughout the United States and some foreign countries. This publication is the most prestigious trade book of its' kind and it is a great honor to be selected to show art in their publication. |  SOLD |
Each piece is a handmade original. It takes 4 to 6 weeks to complete an image. 50% deposit is required at time of order and the balance upon completion.
